Acquired by AEM in 2021, CEI is a reputable contract manufacturing services provider and one of AEM’s largest acquisitions. Founded in 1999, CEI provides printed circuit board and box-build assembly, equipment design, cable harness assembly, and other manufacturing services. It also offers value-added services such as materials management, circuit layout, prototype, and development engineering. 

CEI’s assembly and box build capabilities enable AEM to deliver its customized test cell offerings, from intelligent load boards to custom-native system level test offerings, in a quick and timely manner to meet the customer’s needs. 

The acquisition raises the level of service for our customers by creating a site-resilient infrastructure. Together with our global manufacturing sites, CEI’s manufacturing plants in Vietnam and Indonesia will allow us to meet the growing demands of our global customer base.
